How generation works

The process follows three main inputs:

1. The contract type.
2. The recurring schedule or SLA policy.
3. The Days in advance setting.

For preventive contracts, the schedule defines the target dates.

Days in advance decides when the work order appears in the system.

For example, a deadline on 31 August with 30 days in advance creates the work order on 1 August.

What happens after generation

Generated work orders follow the normal work order flow.

You can plan, assign, complete, and invoice them like other work orders.

If the contract is linked to multiple objects, separate work orders can be generated per object.
