Control who can see a dashboard

Restrict dashboard visibility to selected groups.

You can limit a dashboard to specific groups.

Use this when a dashboard should only be visible to part of your organization.

Examples include finance, management, or one service team.

Open the dashboard

Open the dashboard you want to restrict.

Open the dashboard settings

Click the settings button in the top-right corner.

Select the allowed groups

Choose the group or groups that should have access.

Save the change

Click Save.

When to use dashboard restrictions

Use restrictions when:

  • one team needs its own dashboard

  • sensitive information should stay limited

  • different departments need different insight

If the right group does not exist yet, create it first in your user or role setup.
