Control what the invoice PDF shows and how it looks.
An invoice layout controls the visual output of the invoice PDF.
Use it to decide which information appears and how the document is structured.
Go to Invoices.
Then click the cogwheels in the top right.
In the Layout section, click Add.
Give the layout a clear name.
It is easiest when the layout name matches the scheme name.
Decide whether attachments should be embedded in the PDF.
Also decide whether the work order PDF should be included.
Review the default parameters.
Add extra parameters if needed.
Then choose which columns should appear.
Turn on Show note as line if item notes should appear as separate lines.
Add a header or footer if needed.
Click Save in the top right.
Keep embedded attachments below about 10 MB.
Large PDFs can cause generation or delivery problems.
