Reorder material lines on a work order
You can reorder the standard materials shown on a work order at any time. This changes the order in which the material lines appear on the work order and on the PDF the customer receives.
To reorder standard materials, use the three-line handle (the drag handle) next to each material line.
Open the work order
Go to Work Orders and open the work order with the materials you want to reorder.
Find the three-line handle
Next to each material line you will see a three-line handle (three horizontal bars).
Drag a material line
Press and hold the three-line handle next to the material line, then drag the line up or down to its new position.
Drop it in place
Release the line where you want it. The standard materials now appear in the new order.
Save the work order
Save the work order so the new material order is kept.
