Import items from Excel

Import many items at once when you already have a product list outside OutSmart.

Use Excel import when you want to load many items faster than manual entry.

This is useful during setup, migration, or large catalog updates.

Prepare the item file

Make sure the item data is complete and consistent.

Check item codes, descriptions, and prices carefully.

Open the import tool

Go to Settings → Import data.

Choose the correct import type

Select the item import option.

Then upload your Excel file.

Review how the file columns map to item fields.

Fix any warnings before you continue.

Run the import
