Manage menu item order and visibility

Change the position, activate or deactivate a Menu Item, and keep the custom menu clear.

Edit a Menu Item when you want to change where it appears or whether users can see it.

You can also use this flow to deactivate a shortcut without deleting it.

Open the Menu Item

Go to Settings.

Search for Menu Items.

Open the Menu Item you want to change.

Change the position

Update Position in menu.

A lower number places the Menu Item higher in the custom menu.

Change the visibility

Select Active to show the Menu Item.

Clear Active to hide it without removing it.

Save the changes

Click Save.

Refresh the page to check the result in the left menu.

Tips for menu order

• use a unique number for each Menu Item
• start with low numbers for the most-used links
• review the full menu after larger changes
