What are Objects?

Understand what objects are, when to use them, and what data they can store.

Objects are the assets, installations, or equipment you work on for customers.

Examples include boilers, HVAC units, machines, panels, pumps, and other serviced equipment.

When to use objects

Use objects when:

  • you work on the same equipment more than once

  • technicians need asset details on site

  • you want a service history per installation

  • you need to track maintenance or warranty dates

What you can store on an object

An object can store details such as:

  • customer, address, and project

  • object code and description

  • serial number, brand, model, and type

  • installation, maintenance, and warranty dates

  • photos, custom fields, and object parts

Where you use objects

You can use objects in:

Objects help your team work with the right asset information in every step of the process.
