Create a quotation email template

Create quotation email templates and link them to the right scheme.

Use quotation email templates when you want to control the message customers receive.

Different quotation schemes can use different templates.

Create the email template

Open Email templates

Go to Settings.

Then open Email templates.

Open the quotation templates

Find the quotation email section.

Open the template line you want to use.

Choose a base template

Click Choose template.

Then select the preset you want to start from.

Configure the template

Set the title, topic, display name, and optional CC or BCC.

Then write the email content and add any tags you need.

Save the template

Click Save when the template is ready.

Open Quotes settings

Go to Quotes.

Then click the cogwheels in the top right.

Open the quotation scheme

Select the scheme that should use the template.

Choose the template

Scroll to Choose template.

Select the new quotation template.

Set expiry days

Set how many days the quotation stays valid.

That also controls when reminder emails can start.

Good to know

Reminder emails are optional.

You can disable them in the quotation scheme.
