Understand what the Reports module does and when to use it.

You choose the report topic, columns, and included records. Run it once or schedule it automatically.

Introduction

Reports turn existing work orders, hours, invoices, materials, and quotations into exports you can share or analyse.

Detailed explanation

Every report uses a primary entity. This is the report's main subject, such as Work orders, Hours, or Invoices.

Optionally add a secondary entity for related data. For example, add hours or materials to work orders.

You then define:

  • Columns — the information in each row.

  • Criteria — which records are included.

  • Sorting — the row order.

Download a report as an Excel file. You can also schedule e-mail delivery.

Reports is available on the Accelerate and Maximize plans. Saved snapshots require Maximize.

Step-by-step guide

  1. Open Reports in the side menu.

  2. Review existing reports or open Report templates.

  3. Click Create report.
