Add a note to the Scheduler

Add leave, absence, or other planning notes to the Scheduler.

Add a Scheduler note when you want to block time or show planning context that is not a work order.

Common examples are leave, training, or appointments.

Open the Scheduler

Go to Scheduler in the left menu.

Select the employee and date

Click the right employee row on the day where you want to add the note.

Open the notes option

In the prompt, choose Notes (Leave & absence).

Fill in the note details

Select the employee if needed.

Then enter the date, time, or choose Entire workday.

Add the remark and save

Choose a color.

Enter the remark that should appear in the Scheduler.

Then click Save.

Optional fields

Depending on your setup, you can also:

  • select an hour type for absence

  • add the hours to the timesheet overview

  • add the same note for more than one employee

Frequently asked questions

Do notes replace work orders?

No.

They only add planning context.

Can I use a note for a full day off?

Yes.

Use Entire workday.
