Device policies and settings

Control what field employees can see, edit, and sync in the mobile app.

Device policies and settings control the OutSmart mobile app.

Use them to decide what field employees can view, change, and synchronise. You can apply settings globally or per employee.

How these settings work

Global settings apply to all employees without custom settings. If you change settings for one employee, that employee gets custom app settings.

Custom settings stop following future global changes. You can reset them later if needed.

Main setting groups

These sections cover most app behaviour:

  • View, Adjustments, and Features

  • Sync, Tasks, and Warehouses

  • Customers, Map, and Track and trace
