Create recurring work orders

Generate a series of work orders from one recurring schedule.

Use a recurring schedule when the same work repeats on a fixed pattern.

OutSmart creates the full series as soon as you save.

Use contracts when recurring work should generate later instead of immediately.

Open the work order

Create a new work order or edit an existing one.

Open the recurring schedule

Go to Recurring schedule configuration.

Change One-time only to Recurring.

Set the schedule

Choose the start date.

Then choose how the series ends.

Use End after x times or Ends on.

Set the frequency

Enter the interval in Each.

Then choose the time unit and the day.

Review and save

Check the generated dates in the agenda preview.

Then save the work order.

Frequently asked questions

Can I delete one work order without deleting the full series?

Yes.

Do not delete the first work order in the series.

Deleting the first one removes the full batch.

Can one recurring work order span several weeks?

Use recurring work orders for repeated visits.

Use a normal multi-day job for work that continues directly.
