Troubleshoot AccountView

Review the log and fix common AccountView connection, import, and export errors.

Use the log in the AccountView settings to review imports, exports, and errors.

The log panel is on the right side of the settings page.

Open a log entry with the orange error icon to read the full message.

Open the AccountView settings

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations.

Open AccountView.

Open the log

Review the log panel on the right side.

Then open the latest warning or error entry.

Read the full message

Check the full error details.

Look for the record, field, or export step involved.

Fix the cause and retry

After you correct the issue, run the relevant Import or Export workorders action again.

Quick checks first

Check these points before you go deeper:

  • the connection is still active

  • the correct AccountView administration is selected

  • the record is not blocked in AccountView

  • required fields are filled on the source record

  • the log shows the latest error details

Common error messages

Error processing work order to invoice

A general error occurred while AccountView was creating the invoice.

Open the log details and resolve the exact AccountView message.

Error processing work order to sales order

A general error occurred while AccountView was creating the sales order.

Open the log details and resolve the exact AccountView message.

Error creating project for work order

AccountView could not create the project for the work order job number.

Open the log details and resolve the AccountView error first.

Missing required fields on sales order

A required field is missing on the sales order being imported.

Check the sales order in AccountView and fill in the required fields.

No quotes for import

AccountView did not find any quotes with WBA in the internal notes.

Add WBA to the quotes you want to import.

Nothing to import or export

This is not an error.

It means the sync ran successfully, but there was no new data to process.

Communication error

OutSmart cannot reach the AccountView environment.

Check whether the environment is online.

Then try disconnecting and reconnecting the integration.

Frequently asked questions

Where do I find the sync log?

The log is visible on the right side of the AccountView settings page.

Click the refresh icon to load the latest entries.

Is “Nothing to import or export” an error?

No.

It means the sync completed, but there was no new work to process.

How do I reconnect the integration?

Click the disconnect button with the power icon.

Then sign in again through the AccountView login page.

A work order is stuck with work status 99. What should I do?

Check the log for the exact error on that work order.

Fix the underlying issue.

Then click Export workorders to retry.

The integration worked before and then stopped. What should I check?

Check the log first.

An expired access token is a common cause.

Disconnect and reconnect the integration if needed.
