What is Bouwsoft?
Understand what Bouwsoft syncs with OutSmart and how the connection works.
Bouwsoft connects OutSmart with your Bouwsoft administration.
It reduces double entry between field work, projects, stock, and invoicing.
What you do with Bouwsoft
import employees, materials, categories, and warehouses
import hour types, customers, projects, and assignments
export completed work orders as assignments or sales invoices
post worked hours and materials as actual costs on Bouwsoft projects
What syncs between both systems
With Bouwsoft in OutSmart, you can:
import employees into OutSmart employees
import materials into OutSmart materials
import categories from Bouwsoft lists and groups
import warehouses into OutSmart
import hour types into OutSmart
import relations into customers and contacts
import projects into work orders
import assignments into work orders
export completed work orders to Bouwsoft as assignments
export completed work orders to Bouwsoft as sales invoices
export hours and materials as actual costs on Bouwsoft projects
How the connection works
The connection uses OAuth through the Bouwsoft login page.
You sign in on the Bouwsoft side.
OutSmart receives a secure access token.
OutSmart does not store your Bouwsoft password.
What you need first
Before you start, make sure you have:
access to Settings → General → Software integrations
an active Bouwsoft integration license in the License Manager
access to the Bouwsoft account you want to connect
the correct administration in Bouwsoft
Important to know
The sync runs automatically in the background.
You can also start manual imports and exports from the settings page.
You can connect one administration at a time.
The access token refreshes automatically when possible.
The log panel shows recent sync activity and errors.
How the process works
Activate the integration in the License Manager.
Connect your Bouwsoft account.
Select the administration you want to use.
Configure the import and export settings.
Save the setup.
Run a manual import or export if needed.
