Set up EasyBill

Connect OutSmart to your EasyBill account with your API key and choose the right plan.

Connect OutSmart to EasyBill before you configure imports or exports.

You need a valid EasyBill API key.

OutSmart does not store your EasyBill password.

Purchase the integration

Open the License Manager.

Purchase EasyBill if it is not active yet.

Open Software integrations

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations.

Open EasyBill.

Open Settings.

Open the login screen

If EasyBill is not connected yet, the login screen opens.

You see the API Key EasyBill field.

Find your API key in EasyBill

Open your EasyBill account.

Go to Profile and Settings → API Key.

Copy the API key.

Enter the API key

Paste the key into API Key EasyBill.

Then click Submit.

Check the connection

If the key is valid, the settings page opens.

If not, OutSmart shows API key is invalid.

Choose the EasyBill plan

Select Plus or Business in Connection.

This must match your EasyBill subscription.

Configure imports and exports

Choose which data should move into OutSmart.

Then choose which work orders should move out to EasyBill.

Save the setup

Click Save.

Your connection and settings are then stored.

What happens after connection

OutSmart registers webhooks in EasyBill automatically.

These webhooks notify OutSmart about customer and product changes.

This keeps data up to date without waiting for the next sync.

Before you save

Check these points first:

• the API key is copied completely
• the selected plan matches your EasyBill subscription
• the import and export options match your process

Where do I find my EasyBill API key?

Log in to EasyBill.

Go to Profile and Settings → API Key.

What happens if the API key is wrong?

OutSmart shows API key is invalid.

Copy the full key again and try again.

How do I know the connection works?

The settings page opens after login.

The log panel also shows recent sync activity.

How do I disconnect EasyBill?

Use the power icon in the log panel header.

The sync stops, but existing data stays in OutSmart.
