Configure eBoekhouden imports

Choose which relations, products, and services OutSmart imports from eBoekhouden.

Use the import settings to choose which data OutSmart pulls from eBoekhouden.

Each import runs automatically every 15 minutes after you save the setup.

Available import options

Relations

Import customer data from eBoekhouden into OutSmart.

This includes details like name, address, phone number, and email address.

Products

Import products from eBoekhouden into materials in OutSmart.

This only applies when the unit is not hour.

Services

Import products from eBoekhouden into hour types in OutSmart.

This applies when the unit is hour.

Open the eBoekhouden settings

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations.

Open eBoekhouden.

Choose the import options

In Import settings, enable the data you want to import.

You can turn on Relations, Products, and Services separately.

Run a manual import if needed

Use the import icon next to a category.

This starts a manual import for that category only.

Save the settings

Click Save.

The selected imports then run automatically every 15 minutes.

Important limits

eBoekhouden has a hard API limit of 2,000 records per category.

If you have more than 2,000 relations or products, not all records import.

Important setup for imported materials

If you export imported materials later, the material card needs extra data.

Activate and name the first two free fields on the material card.

These fields store the VAT code and counter account code from eBoekhouden.

Can I import only relations?

Yes.

Each import option works independently.

What happens when a relation already exists in OutSmart?

The existing record is updated with the latest data from eBoekhouden.

Why do some products become hour types?

OutSmart checks the product unit.

If the unit is hour, the product becomes an hour type.
