Set up Exact Online

Connect OutSmart to your Exact Online account and choose the right administration.

Connect OutSmart to Exact Online before you configure imports or exports.

You sign in through the Exact Online login page.

Open Software integrations

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations.

Open Exact Online.

Open Settings.

Start the login flow

Choose your country.

Then click To login page.

Sign in to Exact Online

Log in with your Exact Online account.

Then allow OutSmart to access your data.

Return to OutSmart

After login, OutSmart opens the Exact Online settings again.

You can then review the connection details.

Choose the administration

Select the administration you want to sync.

This decides which Exact Online company OutSmart uses.

Configure imports and exports

Choose which data should move into OutSmart.

Then choose which data should move out.

Save the setup

Click Save.

Your connection and settings are then stored.

Before you save

Check these points first:

• the selected country matches your Exact Online account
• the connected user has the right permissions
• the selected administration is the correct one

After you save the administration, you cannot switch to another one in the same connection.

If you need a different administration later, disconnect and connect again.

Frequently asked questions

Can I connect more than one administration?

No.

The integration works with one administration at a time.

What happens if I disconnect the integration?

The synchronisation stops.

Existing data in OutSmart stays in place.

Why can I not change the administration later?

The administration becomes fixed after you save it.

Reconnect the integration if you need another one.
