Configure Gripp imports

Choose which relations, products, employees, and sales orders OutSmart imports from Gripp.

Use the import settings to decide which data Gripp sends into OutSmart.

The sync runs automatically at the interval you choose.

You can also start a manual import per section.

What you can import

Relations

Import companies from Gripp into the OutSmart CRM.

By default, OutSmart imports only companies with the customer role.

Turn on Import all relations to include prospects and other relation types.

Turn on Contact persons to import linked contacts too.

Materials

Import Gripp products as materials in OutSmart.

Hour types

Import Gripp products as hour types in OutSmart.

Employees

Import employees from Gripp into OutSmart.

Sales orders

Import sales orders from Gripp into OutSmart.

You can import each sales order in two ways.

Import sales orders as work orders

Each Gripp sales order becomes one work order in OutSmart.

Order lines import as materials on the work order.

You can also:

  • import hour rows as materials

  • allow the same order to import more than once

Import sales orders as projects

Each Gripp sales order becomes one project in OutSmart.

You can then handle the linked tasks in two ways.

  • import tasks from Gripp as work orders

  • create new work orders in OutSmart for the project

You can filter which task types and task phases are imported.

Available sales order filters and options

For both sales order modes, you can:

  • filter by one or more tags from Gripp

  • filter by order phase

  • use the alternative delivery address as the work address

  • import attachments from the Gripp sales order

How manual import works

Each import section has its own Import button.

Use Sync at the bottom of the page for a full sync.

Open the Gripp settings

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations.

Open Gripp.

Set the sync frequency

In General settings, choose 15, 30, or 60 minutes.

Turn on the imports you need

Enable the sections you want to import.

For example, Relations, Materials, or Sales orders.

Configure section-specific options

Add filters and sub-options where needed.

For example, Contact persons, Import all relations, or sales order filters.

Save the setup

Click Save.

Your import settings are then stored.

Run a manual import when needed

Click Import next to a section.

Or click Sync for a full sync.

Frequently asked questions

Which relations are imported by default?

OutSmart imports only companies with the customer role.

Can I filter which sales orders are imported?

Yes.

Filter by tags and order phase.

Only matching sales orders are imported.

What is the difference between importing as a work order or as a project?

As a work order, one sales order becomes one work order.

As a project, one sales order becomes one project.

Its tasks then become work orders.

Can OutSmart import attachments from Gripp?

Yes.

Turn on Import attachments in the sales order settings.
