What is Gripp?

What you do with Gripp
With Gripp in OutSmart, you can:
import relations into the OutSmart CRM
import materials, hour types, and employees
import sales orders as work orders or projects
send completed work order results back to Gripp
create invoices in Gripp from completed work orders

OutSmart can import:
companies and optional contact persons
products as materials
products as hour types
employees
sales orders
Export from OutSmart to Gripp
OutSmart can send back:
completed work order materials
completed work order hours
work order PDFs
invoices created from completed work orders
new relations, materials, and hour types
How data flow works
Relations and products usually flow from Gripp into OutSmart.
Completed work order data then flows back from OutSmart into Gripp.
This keeps planning, execution, and invoicing aligned.
How the connection works
The connection uses a Gripp API key.
OutSmart does not store your Gripp password.
After setup, the sync runs automatically in the background.
You can set the interval to 15, 30, or 60 minutes.
The default interval is 15 minutes.
After you save the setup, OutSmart also registers webhooks in Gripp.
This lets new companies, contacts, employees, projects, and tasks sync faster.
Day-to-day, the integration runs automatically in the background.
What you need first
Before you start, make sure you have:
access to Settings → General → Software integrations
an active Gripp integration license
a Gripp API key
