Introduction

The Jortt import brings your customers from Jortt into OutSmart as relations. Customers are the only data type Jortt imports.

Detailed explanation

When you enable the relations import, OutSmart reads your Jortt customers and creates or updates matching relations. For each imported customer, OutSmart also fills two extra fields:

• Jortt klant type — Particulier (private) or Bedrijf (business)
• Jortt betalings termijn — the payment term from Jortt

You can choose how the Jortt email address is stored in OutSmart:

• Contact mail — as the customer's contact email
• Work order mail — as the work order email address
• Both — as both

Jortt is the leading system. Details imported from Jortt overwrite the matching relation in OutSmart on each sync.

A customer can only be imported if these fields are filled in Jortt:

• Debtor number
• Name
• Address
• Postal code
• City

Customers missing any of these are skipped, and the reason appears in the log.

Step-by-step guide

Open the Jortt settings

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations and open Jortt.

Enable the relations import

Tick Relaties under the import settings.

Choose the email mapping

Choose whether the Jortt email imports as contact mail, work order mail, or both.

Save the settings

Click Save. The import then runs automatically in the background.

Run a manual import if needed

Use the sync button to import immediately instead of waiting for the automatic sync.

FAQ

Why was a customer not imported?

The customer is probably missing a required field in Jortt.

Make sure the debtor number, name, address, postal code, and city are filled in Jortt, then sync again.

My edits to a customer in OutSmart disappeared. Why?

Jortt is the leading system.

Customer details from Jortt overwrite the matching relation in OutSmart on the next sync. Make the change in Jortt instead.

How often does the import run?

Automatically every 15 minutes.
