Troubleshoot Jortt

Review the Jortt sync log and fix common connection, import, and export errors.

Troubleshoot Jortt

Use the log panel in the Jortt settings to review sync activity, warnings, and errors. Entries with a warning icon can be opened for full details.

Introduction

Most Jortt issues fall into three groups: the connection, imported customers, and exported invoices. Start with the log.

Detailed explanation

The integration retries the same action until the cause is fixed, so the same error can keep appearing until you resolve the root cause.

Common error messages and what they mean:

  • "Reset de koppeling" / token no longer valid — the connection expired and could not refresh. Disconnect with the power icon and connect again.

  • "Onvoldoende rechten koppeling" (insufficient rights) — the connection is missing required permissions. Reconnect and approve all requested access.

  • Paid account required — Jortt refused the call because the organization needs a paid Jortt plan.

  • "Jortt API tijdelijk onbereikbaar" (temporarily unavailable) — Jortt is under maintenance. Wait and try again.

  • Missing fields on customer — the customer is missing required fields (debtor number, name, address, postal code, city).

  • Unknown hour type on work order — an hour type used on the work order does not exist in OutSmart, so no price can be determined. Create the hour type in OutSmart.

Step-by-step guide

1

Open the Jortt settings

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations and open Jortt.

2

Review the log

Check the latest entries first. Open any entry with a warning icon for the full message.

3

Fix the source issue

Correct the customer, hour type, setting, or connection named in the message.

4

Reconnect if needed

For connection or rights errors, disconnect with the power icon and sign in to Jortt again.

5

Sync again

Run a manual sync. For failed work orders (status 99), reset the status so they are picked up again.

FAQ

The connection keeps expiring. What do I do?

OutSmart first tries to refresh the connection automatically.

If it still fails, disconnect with the power icon in the log panel and connect again.

Jortt says a paid account is needed. Why?

Creating invoices requires a paid Jortt plan.

Upgrade your Jortt account, then sync again.

A work order will not export. Where do I look?

Open the log for that sync.

Check for missing customer fields, an unknown hour type, or status 99 on the work order.
