What is Jortt?

Understand what Jortt syncs with OutSmart, what it needs, and which system leads.

What is Jortt?

Introduction

Jortt is online accounting and invoicing software.

The Jortt integration links your OutSmart data with your Jortt administration, so you do not enter the same customers and invoices twice.

Detailed explanation

With Jortt in OutSmart, you can:

  • import customers from Jortt into OutSmart relations

  • export completed work orders to Jortt as concept invoices

  • create a new customer in Jortt automatically when a work order needs one

Jortt stays the leading system for customer data. When you import, customer details from Jortt overwrite the matching relation in OutSmart.

The integration runs automatically in the background every 15 minutes. You can also start a sync manually from the settings page.

When you complete and invoice a work order in OutSmart, the integration creates a matching concept invoice in Jortt. You review and send that invoice from Jortt.

Step-by-step guide

A common setup works like this:

  1. Connect your Jortt account to OutSmart.

  2. Import your customers from Jortt.

  3. Complete work orders in OutSmart as usual.

  4. Let the integration create concept invoices in Jortt.

  5. Review and send those invoices from Jortt.

FAQ

Which system should lead for customer data?

Jortt.
