Set up Perfectview

Connect OutSmart to your Perfectview account and choose the right administration.

Connect OutSmart to Perfectview before you configure imports or exports.

You do this with your API credentials.

Open Software integrations

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations.

Open Perfectview.

Open Settings.

Enter the connection details

Fill in these fields:

• API ID
• Database ID
• User ID
• Administration name

Start the connection

Click Connect.

OutSmart verifies the details with Perfectview.

Open the settings page

If the connection succeeds, the settings page opens.

If the connection fails, check the credentials and try again.

Choose the administration

If more than one administration is available, click Select administration.

Then choose the administration you want to sync.

Configure imports and exports

Choose which data should move into OutSmart.

Then choose which data should move out of OutSmart.

Save the setup

Click Save.

Your connection and settings are then stored.

Before you save

Check these points first:

• the API ID is correct
• the Database ID is correct
• the User ID is correct
• the administration name is clear for your team
• the selected administration is the correct one

Where do I find the API ID, Database ID, and User ID?

Find these in your Perfectview API settings.

Use the Perfectview manual on the settings page if you need help locating them.

What happens if the connection fails?

Check the credentials first.

Also check whether API access is enabled in Perfectview.

Then try the connection again.

Can I connect more than one administration?

Yes.

Use the administration selector to add or switch administrations.

Use the plus button if you want to add another administration.
