Set up Silvasoft

Connect OutSmart to your Silvasoft account with your username and API key.

Connect OutSmart to Silvasoft before you configure imports or exports.

After the connection works, OutSmart creates the required work statuses automatically.

Find your API key in Silvasoft

Sign in to Silvasoft.

Open your account settings and copy the API key.

Open Software integrations

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations.

Open Silvasoft.

Open Settings.

Enter your connection details

If the connection is not active yet, the login screen opens.

Enter your Silvasoft username and API key.

Submit the login form

Click Submit.

OutSmart then verifies the connection details.

Check the result

If the details are correct, the settings page opens.

If they are not correct, an error message appears.

Configure imports and exports

Choose which data should move into OutSmart.

Then choose which data should move out.

Save the setup

Click Save.

The selected sync settings then become active.

Work statuses created automatically

After the connection is saved, OutSmart creates these work statuses:

  • 0 — Not ready to invoice

  • 1 — Invoice to Silvasoft

  • 99 — Error

Use these statuses to control which work orders should export.

Before you save

Check these points first:

  • the integration is active in the License Manager

  • the username is correct

  • the API key is current and valid

  • the import and export settings match your process

Where do I find my Silvasoft API key?

Sign in to Silvasoft.

Open your account settings to find the API key.

What happens if I enter the wrong details?

OutSmart shows an error message.

Check the username and API key, then try again.

How do I disconnect Silvasoft?

Use the disconnect button with the power icon in the top right of the log panel.

The synchronisation stops, but existing OutSmart data stays in place.

The settings page opens after login.

The log panel on the right shows recent sync activity.
