Configure SnelStart Online imports

Choose which data OutSmart imports from SnelStart Online and how each import behaves.

Use the import settings to choose which data OutSmart pulls from SnelStart.

Each enabled import runs automatically after you save the setup.

You can also start a manual import per category.

Available import options

Materials

Import SnelStart articles into materials in OutSmart.

Use the material type filter to skip specific product types.

Hour types

Import hour types into OutSmart.

Use an article code range to decide which article codes import as hour types.

For example, use 1-100.

Relations

Import customers from SnelStart into the OutSmart CRM.

You can also choose how addresses and existing relations behave.

Available relation options:

• use the correspondence address as the invoice address
• turn on Do not overwrite relations to keep existing OutSmart data unchanged

Quotations

Import quotations from SnelStart as work orders in OutSmart.

Orders

Import sales orders from SnelStart as work orders in OutSmart.

You can filter by order type and sales template.

SnelStart 12 only: Besides Orders, SnelStart 12 also supports importing Confirmations as work orders.

Confirmations inherit the original Order creation date.

Because of that, the automatic synchronisation may not detect them.

If a Confirmation does not appear in OutSmart, start a manual sync.

Price agreements

Import customer-specific price agreements from SnelStart.

Invoice payments

Import payment registrations from SnelStart.

This lets OutSmart mark invoices as paid automatically.

The Orders and Price agreements imports require SnelStart 12.

These options do not work with the SnelStart Online web version.

Email mapping for imported relations

Choose which SnelStart email field OutSmart should use.

Available email sources:

• Email Algemeen
• Email Facturen aan

You can set this separately for:

• the main customer email field
• the work order email field

Open the SnelStart settings

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations.

Open SnelStart Online.

Choose the import category

Go to the section you want to configure.

For example, open Materials, Relations, or Hour types.

Enable the import

Turn on the toggle for the category.

This activates automatic synchronisation for that data type.

Set the filters and options

Fill in the extra fields for that category.

Examples are the hour type article range, relation overwrite setting, or email mapping.

Save the settings

Click Save.

The selected imports then start running automatically.

Run a manual import if needed

Click the sync icon next to a category.

This starts the import immediately for that category.

Important to know

• The integration also runs imports automatically in the background.
• A manual import does not replace the automatic sync.
• Relations, materials, and hour types can be enabled separately.
• Relation email mapping and address behavior only affect imported relations.

Frequently asked questions

What is the article code range for hour types?

It tells OutSmart which SnelStart article codes should import as hour types.

Items inside that range import as hour types instead of materials.

What happens when a relation already exists in OutSmart?

By default, OutSmart updates the existing relation.

Turn on Do not overwrite relations if you want to keep the existing record unchanged.

What does correspondence address as invoice address mean?

OutSmart uses the correspondence address from SnelStart as the main invoice address.

The primary address is then stored as an alternative address.

Can I import price agreements with the SnelStart Online web version?

No.

Price agreements require SnelStart 12.
