Configure Teamleader imports

Choose which companies, contacts, products, and employees OutSmart imports from Teamleader.

Use the import settings to choose which data OutSmart pulls from Teamleader.

Imports run automatically after setup.

Companies, contacts, and products can also update through webhooks.

Available import options

Companies

Import companies from Teamleader into OutSmart customers.

OutSmart imports companies that changed since the last sync date.

You can also import linked contacts and extra addresses.

Tags filter

Use Tags to limit which companies and contacts are imported.

If you select tags, OutSmart only syncs records that match at least one selected tag.

If you leave Tags empty, OutSmart imports all companies and contacts.

Products

Import Teamleader products into materials in OutSmart.

Use article ID

Enable Use article ID to use the Teamleader article ID as the material code.

Products without an article ID do not import when this option is enabled.

Employees

Import Teamleader users into OutSmart employees.

This import only runs when you start it manually.

It does not run in the automatic sync.

Open the Teamleader settings

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations.

Open Teamleader.

Choose the import options

In Import settings, enable the data you want to import.

You can enable Companies, Products, and Employees separately.

Adjust the company options

If you enable Companies, also choose whether to import Contacts and Extra addresses.

Select one or more Tags if you want to filter the import.

Adjust the product options

If you enable Products, decide whether to turn on Use article ID.

Save the settings

Click Save.

The selected imports then run automatically.

Run a manual sync if needed

Click Sync to start the first import.

Use the sync icon next to a data type for a manual import of that type only.

Important to know

If Use article ID is enabled, products without an article ID are skipped.

• Company and contact updates can arrive in real time through webhooks.
• Employee import is manual only.
• Existing records update when the Teamleader ID already matches an OutSmart record.

Frequently asked questions

How often does the automatic import run?

Companies, contacts, and products can update through webhooks in real time.

A scheduled sync also runs in the background.

What happens when a company already exists in OutSmart?

If the Teamleader ID matches, OutSmart updates the existing record.

If no match exists, OutSmart creates a new record.

What does the Tags filter do?

It limits the company and contact import to selected Teamleader tags.

Leave it empty to import all companies and contacts.

Can employees import automatically?

No.

Use the sync icon next to Employees when you want to import them.
