What syncs between both systems
With Teamleader in OutSmart, you can:
import companies into customers
import linked contacts and extra addresses
import products into materials
import employees into OutSmart employees
export completed work orders as draft invoices
How the connection works
The connection uses OAuth through the Teamleader login page.
OutSmart does not store your Teamleader password.
OutSmart stores access tokens and refreshes them automatically in the background.
How updates reach OutSmart
The integration uses scheduled syncs.
It also uses webhooks for real-time updates.
When a company, contact, or product changes in Teamleader, OutSmart can update without waiting for the next scheduled sync.
What you need first
Before you start, make sure you have:
access to Settings → General → Software integrations
an active Teamleader integration license
a Teamleader account with permission to connect the integration
Important to know
Employee import only runs when you start it manually.
Company and contact imports can be filtered by tags.
Product import can use the Teamleader article ID as the material code.
Work orders export as draft invoices, not final invoices.
