Configure VISMA.net imports

Choose which employees, items, projects, customers, and sales orders OutSmart imports from VISMA.net.

Use the import settings to choose which data OutSmart pulls from VISMA.net.

The import runs automatically in the background.

You can also start a manual import at any time.

Available import options

Employees

Import employees from VISMA.net into OutSmart.

OutSmart only imports employees that changed after the sync date.

Materials

Import articles from VISMA.net as materials in OutSmart.

Articles with unit UUR or HOUR are excluded here.

Those articles import as hour types instead.

Warehouses

Import warehouses from VISMA.net into OutSmart.

This is a sub-option under Materials.

It imports together with materials.

Hour types

Import VISMA.net articles as hour types when they:

• use unit UUR or HOUR
• have type service or labour

Projects

Import projects from VISMA.net into OutSmart.

This option is only available when the Projects module is active in VISMA.net.

Customers

Import customers from VISMA.net into the OutSmart CRM.

OutSmart only imports customers updated after the sync date.

Locations

Import customer locations from VISMA.net as extra addresses in OutSmart.

This is a sub-option under Customers.

Sales orders

Import sales orders from VISMA.net as work orders in OutSmart.

Only Open sales orders with the selected order type are imported.

How the import behaves

• The sync date decides where the import starts.
• Only records updated after that date are imported.
• This prevents a full re-import on every sync.

Open the VISMA.net settings

Go to Settings → General → Software integrations.

Open VISMA.net.

Choose the import options

In Import settings, enable the data you want to import.

Each category can be turned on separately.

Choose the sales order type if needed

If you enable Sales orders, select the order type to import.

Only that order type is used during import.

Save the settings

Click Save.

The selected imports then run automatically.

Run a manual import if needed

Click the sync icon next to a category.

Or click Sync at the bottom of the page for a full sync.

Why do some articles import as materials and others as hour types?

VISMA.net uses the article unit to separate products from labour.

Articles with unit UUR or HOUR and type service or labour import as hour types.

Other articles import as materials.

Can I import sales orders as work orders?

Yes.

Enable Sales orders and choose the order type you want to import.

Only open sales orders of that type are imported.

What does the Locations option do?

It imports delivery locations linked to a customer in VISMA.net.

OutSmart stores them as extra addresses on the customer card.
