What are Integrations?

Understand what integrations are, how data moves, and when to use them.

Integrations connect OutSmart with other software.

When an integration is active, data moves automatically between systems.

This reduces manual entry and keeps records aligned.

What integrations can connect

OutSmart supports integrations with many kinds of software, including:

  • accounting software

  • ERP systems

  • CRM systems

  • payment platforms

You can find the full list of available integrations on the OutSmart website.

How data moves

Import

Import brings data from another system into OutSmart.

For example, customers and products from your accounting software can be imported automatically.

Export

Export sends data from OutSmart to another system.

For example, a completed work order can be sent to your accounting software as a draft invoice.

Why integrations help

  • avoid entering the same data twice

  • keep operational and financial data aligned

  • let work continue into the next system automatically

Important to know

  • Some integrations are built and managed by OutSmart.

  • Others are built and managed by the connected software provider.

  • The setup and behavior can differ per integration.

  • If you do not use an integration, you can still manage customers and products in OutSmart.

  • You can also import customers and products from Excel.
