# View and import product details

Open a product from the search results to view all available details.

From this detail window, you can import the item directly.

### Open a product

Click a result in the **2BA** tab.

The detail window opens immediately.

### Check the basic details

Review:

* product name and description
* product code and **GTIN**
* manufacturer and brand
* product status

### View extra product information

Depending on the item, you may also see:

* model and type
* dimensions and weight
* product characteristics
* **ETIM** classification
* product images

### Check predecessor or successor

For some items, you also see a **predecessor** or **successor**.

This helps if a product has been replaced.

### Import the item

Click **Import**.

Then check which details you want to take over.

### Frequently asked questions

They show whether a product is active, upcoming, expired, or temporarily unavailable.

No. Only if 2BA has image material available for it.
