Connect certificate requirements to skills so you can manage qualifications more consistently.

You can link certificates to skills to show which qualifications belong to a skill.

This helps you manage requirements more consistently across HR data.

Why this link matters

Use certificate links to:

• define required certificates per skill
• review compliance more clearly
• support planning and qualification checks

The link does not assign a certificate automatically.

Employees still need their own certificate assignment.

Open Skills

Go to HRM → Skills.

Open a skill

Select an existing skill.

Or create a new skill first.

Find the certificate section

Open the section or tab where certificates can be linked.

Select the required certificate types

Choose one or more certificate types for the skill.

Save

Click Save.

The skill now references the selected certificates.

Frequently asked questions

Can I link more than one certificate to a skill?

Yes. A skill can reference multiple certificate types.

Does this assign certificates to employees?

No. It only creates the relationship for the skill.

Can I remove the link later?

Yes. You can edit the skill and remove the certificate link.
