Scan codes to find materials, objects, or device connection data.

## Scan QR codes and barcodes

Use the scanner when a field shows a scan option.

Scanning reduces manual entry and helps you select the correct record.

### Where you can scan

* Scan material barcodes in the material catalogue.
* Scan object QR codes while adding or selecting objects.
* Scan connection codes when your sign-in flow provides one.
* Scan barcodes into supported Visual Form fields.
