# Client addresses and contacts

## Client addresses and contacts

Use these screens to manage client addresses and contact persons.

Both screens support normal lists and picker mode from work orders.

### What you can do

* search for the right address or contact
* add, edit, duplicate, or contact the selected record
* select a record for a work order in picker mode

{% stepper %}
{% step %}

### Open the list

Open the client's addresses or contact persons.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Find the record

Use search or browse the list.
{% endstep %}

{% step %}

### Use the right action

Open the record, or use the available actions to edit, duplicate, or contact it.

In picker mode, tap the row to return to the work order.
{% endstep %}
{% endstepper %}

### Keep in mind

The app uses picker mode when a work order needs a selection.

Add and edit actions only appear when client editing and sync are allowed.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://knowledge.out-smart.com/mobile-app/ios-outsmart-app/module-overviews/clients-relations/client-addresses-and-contacts.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
