# Objektzustand und Status verfolgen

Der Objektstatus hilft Ihnen, den aktuellen Status eines Assets auf einen Blick zu sehen.

Das ist nützlich für Filterung, Planung und Berichterstattung.

### Warum die Statusverfolgung wichtig ist

Verwenden Sie den Objektstatus, um beispielsweise Folgendes zu unterscheiden:

* installierte Geräte
* interne Geräte
* Lagerartikel
* inaktive oder ersetzte Assets
