# Den Vertragsstatus verstehen

Der Status des Vertrags basiert auf den Vertragsdaten und dem Kündigungsstatus.

### Wenn ein Vertrag aktiv ist

Ein Vertrag ist aktiv, wenn er begonnen hat und nicht beendet oder gekündigt wurde.

Ein Vertrag ist inaktiv, wenn er noch nicht begonnen hat, beendet wurde oder gekündigt wurde.

### Warum der Status wichtig ist

Nur aktive Verträge können gemäß ihrer Konfiguration weiterhin zukünftige Arbeit generieren.

Inaktive Verträge bleiben für Historie und Referenz verfügbar.
