# Begrijp de contractstatus

Contract Status is gebaseerd op de Contractdatums en annuleringsstatus.

Dit bepaalt of het Contract actief is voor het genereren.

### Wanneer een Contract actief is

Een Contract is actief wanneer het is gestart en nog niet is geëindigd of geannuleerd.

Een Contract is inactief wanneer het nog niet is gestart, is geëindigd of is geannuleerd.

### Waarom Status belangrijk is

Alleen actieve Contracten kunnen toekomstig werk blijven genereren volgens hun configuratie.

Inactieve Contracten blijven beschikbaar voor geschiedenis en referentie.
