# Wat is Materieel?

Begrijp wat Materieel doet en wanneer u het in OutSmart gebruikt.

**Materieel** is de functie voor intern materieel in OutSmart.

Gebruik het voor bedrijfsmiddelen die uw eigen bedrijf plant en gebruikt.

Voorbeelden zijn:

* aanhangers
* voertuigen
* kranen
* gereedschap
* meetapparatuur

### Hoe Materieel verschilt van Objecten

Objecten behoren meestal toe aan een Klant of installatie.

Materieel behoort toe aan uw eigen bedrijf.

Materieel is gemarkeerd als intern.

Dat betekent dat ze:

* niet verschijnen in het Overzicht van Klant-Objecten
* worden beheerd in de Backoffice
* kunnen worden gepland in het Planbord
* kunnen worden gekoppeld aan Werkbonnen

### Waar Materieel u mee helpt

Gebruik Materieel om:

* intern materieel bij te houden
* Beschikbaarheid te controleren vóór het plannen
* dubbele boekingen te voorkomen
* gebruik van materieel met tarieven in rekening te brengen

### Wat u eerst nodig hebt

Voordat u begint, zorg ervoor dat:

* Materieel is actief voor uw Account
* de juiste Gebruikers toegang hebben tot de instellingen
* u weet welk materieel als Materieel moet worden beheerd
